Thanks to everyone who came out! Whether you were there to pick up some goodies, participate in a workshop, to dance the night away to Mizdimma/DJ Gamaliel's most amazing set, or to just sit and have conversation, your support and participation was, and is always, greatly appreciated!
The event was kicked off with the Lycanthropy workshop at the Temple of the Wolf, and discussion on cybershamanism with Mizdimma at the Wintermoon Theatre, on Monday. The Lycanthropy info is still available at the Temple. More information on cybershamanism will be available in the apothecary shortly.
The highlight of the event was the grand opening of Club 6 Underground, and the SL debut of DJ Gamaliel on Tuesday. The fires were lit, and burned high! Although there were some technical difficulties, all went well.
Miz played an awesome set, and rolled through all matter of board failures, lags and logs, and monsters to deliver some seriously kick ass music.
Thanks to the bands and labels who gave permissions for their music to be played as well! Without yall, there is no 6 Underground.
I love that Miz chose to play music from new and obscure bands on his opening night. That's what this thing is about after all...creativity and support. We have to support each other. Artists helping artists.
It's this kind of love and support that makes me want to do what I do as an artist.
Special thanks to Moon Watanabe, AnnabeleLee Dreadlow, and the Eldergoth Macabre, who donated their time, support and loads of prize money to the costume contest. Congratulations to Munchflower Zaius of Nomine, for winning the contest!
She wore a seriously amazing costume of her own creation, inspired by the Death card in the tarot.
Thanks to those who dared the zombies, hamsters, tentacle monsters and werehams, and showed up just to say hello, and helped to make the night loads of fun!
